What is HIFU skin lifting treatment?
The therapy is a relatively new cosmetic skin procedure with experts finding its long term results to be comparable to the old style surgical skin lifting techniques minus the recovery time, discomfort and other risks. How it works and renews your skin

How many treatments are required to achieve lasting results?
It does depend on a combination of factors including age, skin condition, home care and general health. In most cases immediate results are visible which continue to improve over 90 days, at which time you may require another treatment to achieve the desired result. The treatments are designed to focus on deep structural layers beneath the skin surface where collagen accumulates. Therefore, the top layers of the skin are virtually unscathed and unaffected enabling the lifting process to happen underneath in a gentle and progressive way.

SKIN REJUVENATION
Photo-rejuvenation is one of the most popular methods of non-ablative resurfacing therapies to produce younger and healthier looking skin by improving skin texture, tone and colour. During the ageing process, the skin comes into contact with many environmental and hormonal factors which can lead to various conditions such as freckles, melasma, sun spots, age spots, broken capillaries on the face, enlarged pores, blotchy skin, rosacea, erythema of the face and neck, and uneven pigmentation. IPL treatments can also improve the appearance of mild acne scarring, dark circles under the eyes, accelerate skin repair and an increase of oxygen and moisture to the skin. Treatments are generally performed in a series of 6-8 sessions that provide excellent long-term results with minimal adverse effects and little to no downtime.
TREATMENTS FOR ROSACEA
Rosacea is a chronic condition that generally affects the skin of the face and occasionally the eyes and is characterised by reddened skin, blemishes, and thickened skin in more advanced conditions. Rosacea affects adults between the ages of 30-60 and more commonly among women. The exact cause of the condition is not known.
In most cases diagnosis is made clinically and occasionally a biospy is performed. There is no cure for Rosacea, but it can be treated and controlled with IPL treatments. Medications may also be prescribed in conjunction with IPL therapy. Depending on the severity of the condition, it may take several weeks or months of treatment before an improvement is noticed in the skin. Following treatment it is essential that UVA/UVB SPF 30 sunscreen it used to protect the skin from further damage. Treatments are scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.
TREATMENTS FOR ACNE
Acne vulgaris is a condition of the skin that causes a tremendous amount of suffering for those afflicted by it. Along with the physical appearance of the condition, individuals experience a tremendous amount of emotional distress associated with having the condition. For some individuals their self-esteem is diminished and they withdraw from becoming involved in social activities. Traditional therapies have typically involved cleansers, toners, topical lotions, ointments and creams or oral antibiotics.
Acne results from an accumulation of sebum and bacteria in the skin gland, producing pustules, papules and cysts. It is the most common skin problem affecting not only teenagers by people in their 20's, 30's. Laser light therapy is used as a treatment for acne where it targets the acne on two fronts. Firstly it destroys acne bacteria for a quick clearance of current acne breakouts and secondly penetrates into the hyperactive sebaceous glands to slow down the production of sebum (oil), which can clog pores and cause future acne breakouts. In addition IPL therapy also reduces the size of sebaceous glands which, in turn, reduce the amount of sebum they produce. Like all pulse-light therapies, the underlying tissues are stimulated to produce new collagen that results in less scarring, fewer fine lines and wrinkles, and fewer acne breakouts once the series of treatments are completed.
